For this surgery to yield results, the penis should be at least 10 cm when erect. Penis enlargement surgery is not for significantly smaller penises. The penis must be at least 10 cm. Also, even if there’s enough abdominal fat available, excessively thickening the penis with too much fat injection is not recommended.
An excessive amount of injected fat can impair erection. Furthermore, if the penis is overly thick, the patient may not be able to have intercourse. Based on our years of experience, we believe the ideal amount of injected fat is 60 cc, and that’s what we always use.
Things to Know After Penis Enlargement Surgery
Three days after surgery, the patient can remove the dressing in the shower. After the shower, the area is dried, and normal undergarments can be worn. There’s no need to reapply a new dressing. No sexual intercourse is allowed for 3 weeks after surgery. Some clinics advise massaging the penis during this period.
We do not recommend this at all. Performing massages or engaging in intercourse within the first 3 weeks can cause the injected fat tissue to disperse and be lost. The patient should also refrain from sports activities for one month.
When Can I Resume My Sexual Life After Penis Enlargement Surgery?
You can have intercourse starting three weeks after surgery. During the 3-week prohibition period, oral sex is also prohibited.
What Complications Can Occur After Penis Enlargement Surgery?
Heavy smokers may experience small openings in the stitches. These usually heal on their own with dressing changes. The most common complication might be partial resorption of the injected fat. In fact, it’s quite common in fat injection procedures for some of the fat to dissolve and for a second fat injection to be necessary.
Patients should be informed of this from the start. The second injection typically costs less than the first surgery. The second fat injection generally takes better, and further injections are not usually required.
How Much Lengthening Can Be Achieved With Penis Enlargement Surgery?
This varies from person to person, which is why we examine the patient before deciding on surgery. Sometimes a patient is not a good candidate for the procedure, and in such cases, we recommend they do not proceed with surgery. Other times, the patient is an excellent candidate; if we expect outstanding results, we tell them so upfront.
It should be remembered that the amount of lengthening possible in penis enlargement surgery is definitely proportional to the size of the penis. To see results, the erect penis should be at least about 10 cm. Lengthening cannot be achieved with significantly smaller penises. On the other hand, if the penis is 18-20 cm, the result can be very noticeable.
Among our local patients, the erect penis length typically ranges from 11-12 cm to 13-14 cm. The extension is usually around 2-3 cm. While 2-3 cm might sound small, when combined with thickening, it provides a satisfactory enlargement.
Side Effects of Penis Enlargement Surgery
There are no side effects to this surgery, provided you do not overdo the thickening. If more than 60 cc of fat is injected, it can impair erectile function. From my experience over the years, no more than 60 cc should be injected. Anything beyond that can compromise erection. Moreover, 60 cc is not a small amount.
